Integration Services — Data and System Integration

SFW understands that many organizations already have existing solutions for their IT infrastructure, including hardware components and software packages for a variety of business tasks. SFW's philosophy is to bring together systems that are already working as opposed to replacing them. Furthermore, SFW identifies efficient existing systems and offers integration services to remove possible redundancies.

For example, an organization that uses an accounting package for invoicing does not need the maintenance system to record the same costs. An integration process will allow the maintenance system to display/interface with the accounting package.

SFW offers integration services for a variety of existing software packages and hardware systems, such as CCTV, access control systems, sensors and more. SFW shares its Web services for easy integration and will typically lead the integration process. To date, SFW has integrated with a variety of software packages, such as work order systems, CRM, GIS and HR. The company has also successfully integrated with multiple CCTV vendors, such as Pelco, Honeywell, AXIS, Canon and Sony. We actively search for new integration challenges that will benefit our clients and their operations.

Our Integration service include:
  • Legacy System Data Import — This simple service is designed for organizations that have valuable data on antiquated systems or on systems that an organization would like to replace with SFW's technology.
  • Client Data Transfer — This service is designed for the simple batch processing needs of a client that wants complete control and discretion with respect to maintaining its data. SFW provides a simple Web portal that the client may use to upload its data files, which will automatically update the system (this process is typically done when working with sensitive HR data).
  • Software Integration — This service is designed as a long-term process that will integrate the SFW system with any other application, allowing changes on one end to be immediately reflected on the other end. There are various design approaches for such integration projects, and the appropriate approach is usually determined after a careful analysis of the two systems and the client's needs. More often than not, both software vendors participate in the integration process.
  • System Integration — This service is designed to bring live feeds from hardware systems, such as live camera feeds and controls, sensor readings and other systems that the client would like to access remotely through SFW's Web application. Similar to the software integration process, the systems integration process requires a more delicate design and implementation, as well as participation of all parties involved. At this point, SFW does not integrate with life safety systems of any kind.
